How can it be free without selling my data?
It's open source, maintained by volunteers and supported by optional donations. No VC funding means no pressure to monetize your data. We build this because we need it ourselves.
What about syncing between devices?
Use your own sync service (Dropbox, Google Drive, Syncthing, etc.) or sync manually via file export/import. Your sync provider only sees encrypted data files.
Can my employer or anyone else see my data?
Only if they have physical access to your device and your password. There are no servers to subpoena, no accounts to hack, no employees who could access your data.
What happens if the project shuts down?
Nothing. Your app continues working forever. The source code is MIT licensed, so the community can always fork and continue development.
How do integrations work without compromising privacy?
