Jira Integration

Your Jira Tickets. Your Focus.

Super Productivity pulls your Jira sprint tickets into a distraction-free personal task list. Track time against issues, update statuses with a keystroke, and keep your deep work protected from Jira's noisy interface.

Why Use Super Productivity With Jira?

Jira is built for teams. It's great at organizing sprints, tracking progress across projects, and generating reports for stakeholders. But it's not designed for your personal focus. The interface is busy, notifications are constant, and switching between your IDE and Jira's web UI is a context switch that costs real time -- a recurring drag on developer productivity.

Super Productivity bridges this gap. It syncs your assigned Jira tickets into a clean, keyboard-driven task list that lives on your desktop. You see only what's relevant to you today. You start a timer on a ticket with one click. When you finish, the time is logged against the Jira issue automatically. Status transitions happen from your task list -- no browser tab required.

The integration works with both Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center (self-hosted). Auth tokens are stored locally on your device, and all API calls go directly from your device to your Jira instance. No data passes through any intermediary server.

How It Works

  1. Connect your Jira instance -- Enter your Jira URL and authenticate. Super Productivity stores the token locally on your device.
  2. Select your project and board -- Choose which Jira project to sync. Your assigned issues appear in your task list.
  3. Work from your task list -- Drag today's tickets into your "Today" view. Start timers, add notes, and update statuses without opening Jira.
  4. Time syncs automatically -- Tracked time is attributed to the correct Jira issue. Use it for sprint reviews, client billing, or personal analytics.

Sprint Sync

Your Sprint, Distraction-Free

Focus on Code, Not on Jira

The average developer switches between tools dozens of times per day. Each context switch fragments focus and compounds across a workday. With Super Productivity, your Jira tickets are always visible alongside your personal tasks -- no browser tab required.

  • Automatic Issue Sync

Your assigned Jira tickets appear in your task list. New issues sync when you open the app.

  • Status Transitions

Move tickets through your Jira workflow (To Do, In Progress, Done) directly from your task list.

  • Time Tracking per Issue

Start a timer on any Jira ticket. Time is automatically attributed to the correct issue for sprint reviews.
